Synectics Solutions Announce Board Restructure for Strategic Growth

Synectics Solutions today has announced the restructuring of its Board of Directors following the decision to appoint Carol Shanahan as the Chair of the company, supported by Kate Beardmore as Vice-Chair, and to promote Richard Wood to the post of Chief Executive Officer.

As part of the restructure, former Chairman Kevin Shanahan has been appointed as President of the organisation, allowing him to maintain an active role in helping to shape the future of Synectics Solutions, across all business areas, but take a step back from operational duties. All other Board of Director positions remain unchanged.

Carol’s transition to chair of the company will enable her to continue in her role as the company’s leading representative, to take the chair at the Board meetings, provide leadership to the board and take responsibility for the board’s composition and development.

Kate Beardmore has been appointed as Vice-Chair of the company, providing vital support in the leadership of the Board and engaging them in assessing and improving their performance. She will continue her executive Director role for People and Client Success, maintaining accountability for the provision of services to Synectics Solutions’ UK, European & North American clients.

Synectics Solutions’ new CEO, Rich Wood, will direct and control the company’s operations and give guidance and direction to the board to ensure that the company achieves its ambitious growth objectives. Rich has been on the Board of Directors at Synectics’ in his positions as Operations Director and most recently, Business Development Director, where he was responsible for the sales, product and marketing functions of the business.
