We are delighted to announce that our MD and Chairman, Carol and Kevin Shanahan, have scooped a prestigious award recognising their pivotal entrepreneurial role in the region.
They have been crowned Midlands regional winners in the Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in the category of Building A Better Working World.
Carol and Kevin founded Synectics Solutions in 1992 based on a vision to create a truly innovation-led data management company – and they have been at the forefront of pioneering data science ever since.
As regional finalists, Carol and Kevin will now go through to the national ceremony in November.
For 20 years, Entrepreneur of the Year UK - managed by EY - has been celebrating, supporting and connecting entrepreneurs. The programme recognises successful entrepreneurs making a positive impact on their society and the economy, and the legacies they’re building.
Reflecting on the award, Carol said: “This is a prestigious industry award and Kevin and I are extremely proud to have won the Midlands heat.
“There are some very worthy winners in each of the categories, clearly demonstrating excellence in entrepreneurship, and we’re very much looking forward to meeting everyone on this fantastic journey!”
