
Synectics welcomed Secretary of State for Education, Damian Hinds MP, to our offices yesterday (12 February) to meet with apprentices and employers from across Stoke-on-Trent to discuss the importance of involving businesses in training young people to ensure they have the right skills for the economy.
On a short tour of the office, Synectics managing director, Carol Shanahan, introduced the Secretary of State to staff, before hosting a meeting of the Stoke-on-Trent Opportunity Area Board, which she co-chairs.
Of his visiting Synectics' offices and meeting many of the employees, the Secretary of State for Education, Damian Hinds MP, commented, “It was great to meet so many inspiring apprentices and their employers at Synectics today and hearing about how local businesses can get involved in training young people."
